Two Cousins Die of Electric Shock While Returning Home from School

Udaipur : On Thursday evening, two school children came in contact with a broken electric wire on the side of the road while going home in Dhadhawali village of Jhadol Police Station. Due to which both died on the spot.

SHO Ratan Singh Chauhan said that Mahendra Kumar (12) son of Mohanlal Vadera and Kamlesh (14) son of Gopi Lal Vadera, both residents of Dhadhawali, died in the accident. On receiving information about the incident, the villagers immediately rushed and informed the police station Jhadol and the officials of the electricity department. Also, the power line was shut down.

The police reached the spot and prepared a spot map and kept the bodies of both in the mortuary of CHC late at night. Later on Friday, after post-mortem, the bodies were handed over to the families.

The villagers said that Kamlesh Vadera was studying in class 5 of Dhadhawali. While Mahendra Kumar was studying in class 7 of the same school. Both were cousins.
