Lava O2 India launch will take place this week, the domestic smartphone brand announced via X on Tuesday (March 19). Lava has released the official teasers showing the design and specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Sales on Amazon have been confirmed and a smartphone microsite is now available on the e-commerce site. Lava O2 is powered by Unisoc T616 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM. There is said to be a dual 50-megapixel camera on the back.

Lava O2 will be released on March 22nd at 12pm EST. The presentation will be broadcast live on the company’s official YouTube channel. Those interested can register for the event here by entering their mobile number and name. The phone has been confirmed to be available on Amazon.

Based on Lava’s promotional videos and posts, the Lava A2 has a square shape with power and volume buttons on the left edge. In the upper part of the display, in the middle, there is a cutout for selfie photography. On the back is a square dual-sensor camera, similar to what we saw on the Lava Yuva 3 Pro. The phone is confirmed to be powered by an octa-core Unisock T616 SoC.

According to Lava O2’s listing on Amazon, the phone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is said to have scored over 2,50,000 points on benchmarking website AnTuTu. There is an artificial intelligence dual rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera. It has been confirmed to support 18W fast charging.

The Lava O2 has been spotted on Amazon in Majestic Purple. Specs include a 6.5-inch screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. However, at the time of writing, the product page has been removed.
