Realme GT Neo 6 SE is expected to launch in China soon and the company has started revealing the specifications of the phone. The Chinese smartphone maker confirmed the phone’s name on Chinese microblogging site Weibo and announced that it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 processor. The phone is expected to launch alongside the more powerful Realme GT Neo 6, which is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor.

In a post on Weibo, the company confirmed that the Realme GT Neo 6 SE will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, the same mid-range chip (part number: SM7675) that powers the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V. in China. Realme has yet to provide information on when the phone will be released in other markets, including China and India.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 will be the fastest model in the company’s Snapdragon 7 series, and will reportedly feature a single Cortex-X4 Prime core clocked at 2.8GHz, four Cortex-A720 “performance” cores clocked at 2.61GHz es clock and three “power” cores operate at a frequency of 1.9 GHz. The architecture of the mobile platform is the same as the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset released in October 2023.

According to earlier reports, the Realme GT Neo 5 SE successor will feature a 1.5K LTPO OLED screen similar to the one found on the flagship smartphone, a Chinese tip claims. The phone is said to have a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging.

Last year, the company launched the Realme GT Neo 5 SE with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset and a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone features a 6.74-inch display with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The company is expected to carry over the 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging from the GT Neo 5 SE to its successor when it launches in China in the coming weeks.
