Honor presented its new product line at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The Chinese manufacturer announced the Honor Magic 6 series, Honor Magic V2, ahead of the event. The company also introduced new laptops and tablets at MWC. Honor Magicbook Pro 16 and Honor Pad 9 were announced on Sunday. The new laptop has artificial intelligence capabilities and uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 40 GPU. On the other hand, the Honor Pad 9 uses the 1st generation Snapdragon 6 chipset and features a 12.1-inch display with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Price for Honor MagicBook Pro 16 and Honor Pad 9
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 is available in white and purple. Honor has not yet revealed pricing details for the laptop, but has confirmed that it will launch in China for the first time, with a global launch expected in the second quarter of 2024.
The Honor Pad 9 starts at £299.99 (approximately Rs. 31,499) in the UK for the 8GB and 256GB RAM and storage model. The tablet, which comes with a keyboard, costs ₹349.99 (approximately Rs. 36,748). The Honor Pad 9 comes in Cyan Lake and Space Gray colors and is currently available in China, some parts of Europe and Saudi Arabia on Honor’s website.

The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 runs Windows 11 out of the box and is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor with 6 performance cores, 8 efficient cores and 2 low-power cores. The 16-inch screen of this laptop has a resolution of 3072 x 1920 pixels, 100% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, support for a wide color gamut and a refresh rate of up to 165 Hz.
Honor laptops are equipped with GeForce RTX 40 series laptop graphics processors. Packed with AI features like intelligent image search, intelligent document summarization, text understanding, AI captions, magic text and more.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 16 has six speakers, including four woofers and two tweeters. Honor claims it is the world’s first room acoustic laptop to run on Windows-based PCs. The laptop has a 75 watt-hour battery and promises a battery life of up to 12 hours.
Honor Pad 9 specifications
The Honor Pad 9 runs MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 and is powered by a 1st generation Snapdragon 6 chip paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It has a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The newly launched tablet features a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.1, OTG, and a USB Type-C port. This tablet also features an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and gravity sensor.
Honor’s latest tablet packs an 8,300mAh battery and features two microphones and eight speakers. The Honor Pad 9 measures 278.27 x 180.11 x 6.9 mm and weighs around 555 grams.
