Jaipur : Jaipur International Airport has received a bomb threat email. The email was sent from an unknown ID using the name “Dawn of India” to the official email ID of Jaipur Airport.

Following the threat, a Search Operation was conducted at the airport by security personnel along with the BDS team (Bomb Disposal Squad). The airport administration has also filed a complaint with the Airport Police Station. Security agencies have been alerted and the cyber team is also investigating the matter.

SHO (Airport) Mamta Meena said that the police were informed about the email threatening to blow up the airport at around 11:29 am. An unknown person sent a threatening email to the official email ID of Jaipur International Airport. The email threatened to blow up the landside area of Jaipur Airport.

Email received from the name “Dawn of India”

Security agencies are on alert after receiving the bomb threat at the airport. Three cyber teams are investigating the email. According to airport sources, the email was sent to the email ID provided to passengers for feedback. The email was received on Friday morning from an ID named “Dawn of India”.

2-hour search operation conducted

A search operation was conducted at the airport by the BDS, CISF and Dog Squad teams. No suspicious items were found in the airport premises during the search operation that lasted for about 2 hours.
