Rakesh Bishnoi of Dungarpur hoists 510-feet Indian flag at Mount Kilimanjaro with Ramdhwaj

Dungarpur : Rakesh Bishnoi, a businessman and mountaineer from Karad, Dungarpur, has set an international record by hoisting a 510-foot Indian Flag and Ramdhwaj at Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

Bishnoi had taken a vow to hoist the Indian flag at Mount Kilimanjaro to mark the 75th Republic Day and the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He climbed the 19,341-foot peak to pay homage to the 500-year struggle for the Ram Temple and to make Republic Day memorable.

Bishnoi reached Africa on January 22 and hoisted the flags on January 26. He faced the challenging weather conditions at -20 degrees Celsius and achieved this feat by going alone. He also spread the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam around the world.

Bishnoi said that he obtained the visa and permission for this mission on his own and conquered the peak. Apart from this achievement, Bishnoi has also conquered the highest peak of Europe with a national record. He has acquired the skills for mountaineering from an institution of the Ministry of Defense. Bishnoi has illuminated the name of the country by hoisting the Indian flag at the peaks of the country and abroad along with his business. Bishnoi’s goal is to hoist the Indian flag at the highest peaks of all 7 continents.

Bishnoi’s achievement has been hailed by people from all walks of life. He has been praised for his patriotism and determination. Bishnoi is an inspiration to many and his story shows that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
