Udaipur : Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation (MMCF) will organize the 40th Maharana Mewar Foundation Annual Student Awards Distribution Ceremony (MMFAA) on Sunday, March 3, 2024. The awards are given to students in recognition of their academic excellence, sports achievements, and cultural contributions.
There are three awards that students can apply for:
- Bhamashah Award: This award is given to the student who achieves the highest percentage in the following faculties from amongst all the Universities of Rajasthan: Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Agriculture, Law, and Medicine.
- Maharana Raj Singh Award: This award is given to students of Universities and Colleges located in Udaipur who achieve the best position in Sports and Academic-co-scholastic activities.
- Maharana Fateh Singh Award: This award is given to students of Udaipur based schools who have passed their 10th and 12th with high marks as well as those students who have passed in these examinations but did best in sports and academics co-curricular.
Applications for the awards will be accepted until November 30, 2023. The awards will be distributed on March 3, 2024, at The City Palace in Udaipur.
Eligibility criteria:
- Bhamashah Award: Students who are studying in Rajasthan based university or those native students of Rajasthan who have completed the said bachelor’s degree or diploma from any other University outside Rajasthan.
- Maharana Raj Singh Award: Students of Universities and Colleges located in Udaipur, who achieved the best position in Sports and Academic- co-scholastic activities.
- Maharana Fateh Singh Award: Students of Udaipur based schools who have passed their 10th and 12th with high marks as well as those students who have passed in these examinations but did best in sports and academics co-curricular.
How to apply:
Students can download the application form from the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation website (http://www.eternalmewar.in/uploads/awards/mmfaa_student_form.pdf) or obtain it free of cost from the Office of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation located at Badi Pol and Sitla Mata Entrance, The City Palace, Udaipur from 10 AM to 5 PM.
The completed application form, along with all the required documents, should be submitted to the Office of Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation on or before November 30, 2023.
Selection process:
The applications and nominations received are reviewed by a distinguished panel of scholars and after which a final list of awardees is prepared.
Awards:
Each award carries a cash award, a certificate, and a medal.
