Udaipur : A 17-year-old girl in Pratapgarh committed suicide on Wednesday after being tortured by her boyfriend. The girl, identified as Anjali, was in a relationship with a 21-year-old man for the past two years. He was physically and emotionally abusive, and he would often threaten to kill her.

On the day of her death, the boyfriend took Anjali to a secluded spot and beat her severely. He then threatened to kill her if she told anyone what had happened. Anjali was terrified, and she felt like she had no way out. She went home and hung herself.

The girl’s family tried to convince her to break up with her boyfriend, but she was afraid of him and refused. They are now demanding justice for their daughter.

The police have arrested the boyfriend, who has been charged with murder.
