OnePlus Open, OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone, is coming on October 19

OnePlus has released a first-look video of its upcoming Foldable Smartphone, the Oneplus Open. The video shows off the phone’s design, hinge mechanism, and durability.

The OnePlus Open has a large, Foldable inner display with a punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera. The outer display is smaller and has a taller aspect ratio. The phone has a metal frame and a glass back panel.

The OnePlus Open uses a waterdrop hinge design, which is similar to the hinge design used on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Huawei Mate Xs 2. The hinge is said to be durable and can withstand over 200,000 folds.
