INDIAN ARMY COMPLETES TREKKING EXPEDITION TO MINI SAR PASS (HP)

The Indian Army’s Dot on Target trekking Expedition to Mini Sar Pass in Himachal Pradesh was successfully completed on 14 October 2023. The expedition team, consisting of 15 Army personnel and led by Captain Amul Banger, was flagged in at Hisar Military Station after a challenging trek through the Parvati Valley.

The expedition was flagged off from Hisar Military Station on 25 September, and the trekking commenced from Jari Village in Kullu District on 29 September. The team reached Sar Pass on 06 October after an adventurous trek of seven days.

During the trek, the expedition team faced challenges of weather and terrain, but they displayed the spirit of adventure, perseverance, and commitment to overcome them. At Jari village, the team also interacted with students and local youth, spreading awareness about the prospects of a career in the Army and motivating them to follow a Nation First approach.

The successful completion of the Dot on Target trekking expedition is a testament to the Indian Army’s commitment to physical fitness, adventure, and outreach. The expedition team’s achievement is a source of pride for the nation.
