PM addresses two rallies in Odisha, one in West Bengal, holds road show in Ranchi

Tuesday proved to be an unusually busy day for Prime Minister Narendra Modi after casting his vote as the Pradhan Sevak of the country in Ahmedabad, he held several rallies and road shows reaching out to voters for the remaining phases.

His first rally was in Kendrapara in Odisha. Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the Congress and opposition parties are spending sleepless nights as the Lahar or wave for the BJP has become a 'lalkar' or challenge for them after the first two phases of elections.

Emphasising that not a single charge of corruption has surfaced against the BJP-led government in the past five years, PM Modi said those who have been levelling false allegations have found themselves in the dock.

PM's next stop in the state was Balasore. He slammed the Congress for failing to demonstrate India's defence capability in space, claiming that the previous governments were only concerned about the interest of a 'namdar' family, not the country's security.

Next in Asansol in West Bengal, Prime Minister Modi mocked Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee for dreaming of becoming the PM and said she would have bought the post with the money looted from chit fund scams had it been up for auction.

Late in the evening, Prime Minister held a roadshow in Ranchi. The enthusiasm of the crowds was visible as they lined the roads. Prime Minister reciprocated the warmth in equal measures.
