387 Pilgrims have been airlifted from Simikot by 21 flights and helicopters today. Now around 150 people are stranded in Simikot.
These pilgrims are also likely to be evacuated soon. Besides Indian Embassy, the Government of Uttar Pradesh and Indian Railways also providing necessary support to the stranded pilgrims.
The District Administration of Bahraich is keeping track of the evacuated pilgrims and helping them to reach their destinations.
The Indian Railways also sending pilgrims to their homes by different trains on priority basis. Meanwhile, Kailash Mansarovar Yatra via Nepal is progressing normally.
A camp office has been set up at Simikot by the Indian Embassy to assist stranded pilgrims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in touch with MEA and other top officials regarding the well being of Indian pilgrims stranded in Nepal.
In his tweet message he said that he asked officials to extend all possible assistance to those affected. The Indian embassy in Nepal is working on the ground and assisting the pilgrims.
