NMDC has reported results for fourth quarter and year Ended March 31, 2017.

The company has reported a rise of 11.50% in its net profit at Rs 511.88 Crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 459.08 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 87.69% at Rs 2871.98 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1530.15 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, the company has posted a fall of 4.54% in its net profit at Rs 2589.14 crore as compared to Rs 2712.22 crore in FY16. However, total income of company increased by 36.74% at Rs 8829.64 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6457.27 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.

For the year ended March 31, 2017, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted a slight fall of 0.09% in its net profit after taxes, non-controlling interest and share of profit of associates at Rs 2543.86 crore as compared to Rs 2546.10 crore in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 36.74% at Rs 8829.64 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6457.27 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016.
