FREE Internet tutorial again but for Globe/TM users only. So, Smart/TNT/Sun users this is not for you but you can opt to buy a new globe/TM prepaid SIM since this tutorial is working as to this writing! (Update for Smart/TNT/Sun users, please see the bottom of this post for the updated tutorial for mobile phone/tablet.) This is a simpler version of my post regarding FREE internet even without load here especially for those users who were not able to make the tutorial work (there were only quite few of you I guess). My setup was the same as my previous post, only the app was different. This FREE internet will let you stream videos, download files, access secured sites, and use the social media. You can also try this to work with torrent downloading by changing the proxy settings in the downloader. It can only be used in your laptop or desktop computers but you can tether your mobile phones as modem instead of broadband stick or pocket wifi (Update: added tutorial for Android users, see bottom of the post). The procedure is easier for this new version because you will just double-click and wait for it to connect. Thanks to the developers of Akimi app and Black Lantern for making us access the internet even without load and providing the software free of charge.

Android phone/tablet users can now also enjoy FREE internet even without load. Just scroll down and follow the guide. The tutorial is also easy. You can browse, upload and download. Please try if it will work for online games as I don't play any games that require internet connection at the moment especially Clash of Clans.
Requirements:
TM/Globe prepaid SIM even with zero load
Broadband stick, pocket wifi, iOS or Android phone that will serve as modem
Akimi App - download here || mirror download
How to:
1. Insert your TM/Globe prepaid SIM into your broadband stick, pocket wifi or android/iOS phones. Then make the following connection settings:
Profile name: FREE internet (any name is ok)
Dial#: *99***1#
APN: http.globe.com.ph
Authentication mode: PAP or CHAP
If you are using your phone as modem, use the following settings:
Profile name: FREE internet (any name is ok)
APN: http.globe.com.ph
No Proxy and Port
Then connect your modem to the internet and wait for the connection to be successful.
2. Extract the Akimi app that you have downloaded above (any folder will do) and run AkimiNet.exe as admin. A dashboard will pop-up then you just have to wait until it indicates that the satellite is connected and running (see below pic).
3. Open your internet browser such as Chrome or Firefox and start surfing. You can use Internet Download Manager for faster and resumable download. Download speed varies as to the time of the day and the network strength available in your area.

For Android Phone/Tablet Users, this tutorial will use Black Lantern that will tunnel your internet connection to access the internet for FREE. It works like Psiphon as included in this Trick to Bypass Globe's FUP. This app is for FREE browsing, uploading and downloading only, no streaming in Youtube but you can still try other streaming sites.
Requirements:
Globe/TM SIM even without load
Android phone/tablet version 4.1 and up (but not Lollipop), rooted or not rooted
Download Black Lantern here || Mirror
Procedure:
1. Go to your phone/tablet's internet settings and create a new profile with the following values:
APN: http.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 9192
Then hit Save and enable as the default internet setup.
2. Install the Black Lantern app that you have downloaded above. If not yet, download Black Lantern.
3. Enable your phone/tablet's data connection.
4. Run Black Lantern, connect and start surfing the internet using UCWEB or your favorite Android browser. The app also lets you access Google Playstore for FREE.
Smart/TNT/Sun Users:
Just use Globe's APN and copy the proxy and port indicated above then follow the same procedure for Black Lantern Tutorial. I know this is kind of weird, but this setting also works with Smart/TNT/Sun SIMs like below:
APN: http.globe.com.ph
Proxy: 127.0.0.1
Port: 9192
Known Issues:
Parsing error - make sure that your device is running in 4.1 Android version and up. But this does not support the latest Lollipop version.
Cannot connect - this app needs a strong 3G and HSPA signal. So if you are in the area of low signal 2G and E, this will not work.
Note: If this setup won't let you access Clash of Clan or any online games, go to this tutorial for FREE CoC access.
