Xiaomi’s ecosystem of IoT products and accessories, while gradually expanding to India, has been largely restricted to its homeland, China. Interested buyers have, up until now, employed third-party platforms such as Banggood to purchase those devices. However, Xiaomi is making that process much easier at least for its second biggest market — India.

The company has announced a new cross-border e-commerce platform called Sharesave which lets you buy China-exclusive Xiaomi-backed products in India. The biggest highlight of the service is that Xiaomi is promising complete local service support and home delivery with minimal additional charges. In addition, Xiaomi has included a nifty social feature that allows you to avail a discount if you buy a product with your friend. And if you get enough people to buy something together, there’s also a possibility of 100% discount.

Xiaomi ShareSave also has a Kickstart tab where you can back new products for as little as Rs 15. The platform has a ton of products already including electric toothbrushes, Yeelight Motion Sensor, and more. In addition, a bunch of devices which are officially available in India are cheaper on ShareSave. For instance, the Yeelight Smart Bulb costs Rs 1,999 on Amazon India and about Rs 1,500 on ShareSave. Similarly, Yeelight Candela is priced at Rs 4,500 in India and Rs 2,850 on the app. There aren’t any high-end products like the Mi NoteBook series just yet.

Xiaomi ShareSave, for now, is restricted to Android phones. You can download it from this link for free. Xiaomi has not announced any plans for an iOS release yet.
