Well, the mask is also said to reduce the adverse effects of change in your sleep cycle and also help you relax during flights.

This is how the Dreamlight works, the inside of the eye-mask is lined with LED panels which lay in front of both your eyes. These panels will help you fall asleep and also get up early in the morning. Unlike the cruel alarm, the Dreamlight uses light to wake users up. However, the light is the only method to wake you up while the ambient sounds help you fall asleep.
