For several days I have been the owner of a Skoda Superb 2.0 TSI 4 × 4 and share my opinion about this car. It’s too early to talk about the power unit and transmission, since the mileage is scanty. And the car is being run-in – I don’t want to take risks for the sake of the desire to experiment.

I will only say that everything is in order with the engine torque – at 1,200 rpm it takes out any gear. The transmission in the running-in mode does not please with obedience, it is quite tight and “dull”, but this will pass over time (I hope). After the Golf 7 R with a 400 horsepower unit and more than 500 Nm of torque, my Skoda does not impress with its agility.

Driving at a low speed on a surface with many small potholes makes the ride, to put it mildly, uncomfortable. But what if, God forbid? you get on the paving stones – this, comrades, welcome to hell)

In this case, you simply do not understand which of the wheels or the entire car as a whole jumps and tries to randomly jump from side to side! The only thing this suspension can handle is overcoming obstacles in the form of deep potholes, high curbs and probably all.

When landing, you wipe the thresholds with your trousers – the doorways are poorly cut. The design composition as a whole is modern, well perceived visually. The trim is well adjusted: there are no squeaks, the materials correspond to the class of the car. It was possible to order Alcantara, but I took the fabric – it is more practical. The driver’s seat is comfortable, engineers have improved the lateral support, which adds comfort while driving.

There are no complaints about the optics – the running lights and taillights shine soundly, nothing needs to be done or upgraded. The equipment of the car is decent, there are many different electronic chips: wireless charging, keyless entry system, start / stop. In general, they make the stay in the car very comfortable.

The functional steering wheel is comfortable to hold – the hands are warmed up, which made me happy. It brings an aesthetic component to the interior lighting: it is especially pleasant to be perceived in the context of a spacious interior. What can not be taken away from the model is the comfort of accommodating passengers. The trunk for this class is also huge – it becomes dimensionless when the seats are folded down. By the way, this is done quickly and easily.

The ergonomics of the luggage compartment are at a decent level – there is everything for convenient placement of little things and more things. I can not say anything about fuel consumption, the car is used too little, and the run-in mode is also used. In general, the impression is still pleasant, and I hope it will remain so in the future.
