Microsoft hat im Laufe des heutigen Abends ein außerplanmäßiges Update für Windows Server 2019 veröffentlicht. Das Out-of-band Update KB5037425 ist zur Installation auf allen Domain Controllern in betroffenen Umgebungen bestimmt. Dieses Update behebt ein Problem, das den LSASS betrifft. Es kann zu Speicherverlusten auf Domänencontrollern führen. Dieses Problem tritt auf, nachdem KB5035849 vom 12. März 2024 installiert wurde. Das Leck tritt auf, wenn lokale und Cloud-basierte Active Directory-DCs Kerberos-Authentifizierungsanforderungen verarbeiten. Dieses erhebliche Leck kann eine übermäßige Speichernutzung verursachen. Aus diesem Grund reagiert LSASS möglicherweise nicht mehr, und die DCs werden unerwartet neu gestartet. Dieses Update ist nicht über Windows Update verfügbar und wird auch nicht automatisch installiert. • This update addresses a known issue that affects the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS). It might leak memory on domain controllers (DCs). This issue occurs after you install KB5035849 (March 12, 2024). The leak occurs when on-premises and cloud-based Active Directory DCs process Kerberos authentication requests. This substantial leak might cause excessive memory usage. Because of this, LSASS might stop responding, and the DCs will restart when you do not expect it.
• Windows 10 servicing stack update – 17763.5568: This update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack, which is the component that installs Windows updates. Servicing stack updates (SSU) ensure that you have a robust and reliable servicing stack so that your devices can receive and install Microsoft updates.
