Microsoft hat im Laufe der Woche ein größeres Update mit der Versions-Nummer 2308 für die Microsoft 365 Desktop-Apps wie Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook und Co. veröffentlicht. Das Update umfasst Featureupdates für Word, Excel, PowerPoint und Outlook sowie Bug Fixes für Outlook. Die Verschlüsselung für Microsoft Purview Information Protection wurde aktualisiert, sodass die Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) mit 256-Bit-Schlüssellänge im Cipher Block Chaining-Modus jetzt der Standardverschlüsselungsmechanismus von Microsoft Purview Information Protection für Dokumente und E-Mails in Microsoft 365 Apps ist. Dazu kommen die Autovervollständigung von Dropdown-Listen für die Datenüberprüfung sowie die üblichen Bug Fixes und Verbesserungen, um die Office Apps zuverlässiger zu machen. Wenn neue Office 365-Funktionen verfügbar werden, nimmt das Rollout an alle Abonnenten manchmal etwas Zeit im Anspruch. Bei ihrer Veröffentlichung werden diese Updates zuerst an einen kleinen Prozentsatz von Benutzern gesendet. Weitere Benutzer werden dann im Laufe der Zeit hinzugefügt, bis alle Office-Abonnenten ihre Updates erhalten haben. Das Update lässt sich allerdings auch manuell anstoßen. Das Update mit der Versions-Nummer 2308 setzt ein PC mit Windows 10 und neuer voraus und kann ab sofort geladen werden. Um das Update manuell anzustoßen, starte Word und erstelle ein neues Dokument -> Gehe zu Datei -> Konto -> Wähle unter Produktinformationen -> Office-Updates -> Updateoptionen -> Jetzt aktualisieren aus. • Paste values directly into your workbook using a keyboard shortcut: The keyboard shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+V lets you quickly Paste Values rather than having to choose Paste Values from the menu.

• We fixed an error that users were hitting when they tried to override a Policy Tip detection or to report it as a false positive.
• We fixed an issue that caused Outlook to exit unexpectedly when users executed a search with the „All Mailboxes“ scope.
• We fixed an issue that caused the application to close unexpectedly when clicking on non-HTTP links.
• We fixed an issue that caused the incorrect workdays to be displayed on shared-in calendars.
