Fishyology landed our first ever Mekong Catfish in Fish Valley back in 2012 and that particular species never to be seen again. Finally after 2 years long wait and unsuccessful trip, finally we landed 3 Mekong Catfish in one day at the Natural Exotic Fish Fishing Pond, Rawang. Just 21 Points clear from the No 10 spot, we made it all possible with the help of Mahfuz and Matsumoto bait which then become a national phenomenon in FW bait fishing for Mekong Catfish. Fish Valley, Semenyih – JUL 2014

Fish Valley newest attraction, Toman Pond was quickly become one of newest fishing hot spot among KL and Selangor Anglers. An outing with Malaysia’s first fishing wear, Ikanz has become one of local icon in fishing fashion hype. It has become our No 8 best outing, showcasing finesse fishing for Giant Snake Heads by Ikanz crew themselves. with thousands of fans behind Ikanz, surely this will be a brand that walks the hall of fame for years to come setting benchmark for other anglers to follow.

Kuantan, Pahang – MAY 2015

The one and only Bottom fishing outing by one of our Fishyologist landed in No 7 of our top 10 list. Bard showcase the exquisite 4 days deep sea fishing off the coast of Kuantan Pahang onboard the Cahaya Damai Charter. Groupers, Snappers and Red Snapper proves how lucrative is Bottom fishing. Tanjung Tuan, Port Dickson – OCT 2014

Ultralight hype has taken the center stage for the first time in Malaysia, and we showcase it a little bit better with Ultralight outing in Port Dickson. Daiko ULS 763 and Major Craft Ajing proves how ultralight tackle can still match game species off the coast of Port Dickson, hauling a massive 5kg Long Fin Trevally and other species that are common and special to Port Dickson. Tasik Bera, Pahang – AUG 2014

At No 5, we explore the hidden pathway outside of Bera main lake, guided by on Malaysia’s top FW angler, Ismail Ibrahim guide us through along the river of Bera to hunt for the infamous Sebarau. We were lucky that day landing my biggest Sebarau, 50cm ~2kg speciemen on Rapala Goldfish 5cm. It straighten the hook and luckily Ismail Ibrahim manage to free it from snag and we land our best FW trophy of a lifetime. With stunning surrounding and the journey behind it make worthy in No 5 out of our top 10 list

Jugra SW Fishing Pond, Banting – MAY 2014

Jugra SW fishing pond is one of the first SW CnR pond situated close to KL. We have one CnR pond in Kedah but Jugra has been visited by most anglers that loves to wet their lines and lures without travelling far from home. Stocked with GT, Redfish, Grouper, Snapper, and Barramundi, it was quick to become one of the best fishing hotspot around KL. With countless exposure from magazine and bloggers, Jugra has become a great option for anglers to enjoy a day of lure fishing.

Pulau Jarak, Perak – MAR 2014

We have reach our top 3 best post of 2014 and in No 3, Pulau Jarak outing with the tackle source team and one of our Fishyologist, Asrazi Shamsinar. Pualau Jarak is one of the best Jigging spot in west coast and onboard the famous GT Chaser, this post was clearly superior on its own showcasing several pelagic species on different jigging technique. Tackle Source is on of the best JDM product reseller in Malaysia and for years they have been bringing the best JDM item to local anglers. .

Air Kuning, Perak – FEB 2014

A step closer to top, our Fishyologist FW outing by Bard and his friends in Ayer Kuning, Perak was a big hit among FW enthusiast in Malaysia. Ezzul landed a trophy size Giant Snake Head was a winner and a 50cm Peacock bass was clearly showcase the uniqueness of Ayer Kuning which is well known as the Mecca of Peacock Bass fishing. As it stands 250 points clear than the Jarak Trip, it is worthy to be positioned in our No 2 spot.

Fish Valley, Semenyih – APR 2014

And the winner goes too… drum rolling.. Fish Valley? What? LoL. Fish Valley, Semenyih is a place where I grow up fishing and over the past 5-7 years it has bring great memories to me and probably to readers too. It was clearly ahead of the No 2 spot by +500pts, I guess readers love to read this particular piece. It is just 40 minutes drive from KL, RM60 for 12 hours fishing, with great facilities and other attraction probably the main factor for Fish Valley to appear on top of our list. A place to enjoy the weekend with friends and families and no matter what is your fishing preference or background. A place to throw our techinical fishing aside for a while and just go fishing. I thing that makes Fish Valley a unique place for all of us
