Police release Scottie Scheffler’s Mugshot

Following his arrest this morning outside of Valhalla Golf Club at the PGA Championship, the Louisville Metro Police Department has released the mugshot of inmate 202406620, also known as world no.1 Scottie Scheffler.

Scheffler was detained, arrested, and booked by the LMPD this morning after an incident where he had a “misunderstanding” with the flow of traffic following an accident in front of Valhalla Golf Club. A pedestrian was struck by a shuttle driving fans to the event, which caused a massive traffic backup.

Scheffler then tried to get into Valhalla for his 8:38 a.m. tee time when an officer approached his car, according to ESPN:

“After about 20 to 30 seconds, Scheffler rolled down his window to talk to the officer. The officer grabbed Scheffler’s arm to pull him out of the vehicle, according to Darlington. The officer reached inside the vehicle to open the door, and once Scheffler was pulled out, he was pushed against the car and placed in handcuffs.”

Now, Scheffler’s mugshot has been released by police:

Tee times were pushed back this morning due to the accident with the shuttle, not due to Scheffler’s arrest or weather, as others have reported.
