Titleist is introducing its Enhanced Alignment System for better putting performance in its Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash golf balls. The system features a performance-oriented alignment design straight out of the sleeve, eliminating the need to do it yourself.

Helping with more precise aim and accuracy, Titleist’s Enhanced Alignment System can also help with setting up tee shots if you are a player who uses lines to choose a target.
Jeremy Stone, Vice President of Golf Ball Marketing for Titleist, said the Enhanced Alignment feature specifically caters to those golfers who want aim assistance but want it built-in to the golf ball:
“We saw overwhelming interest in the single-colored line on Pro V1 Performance Alignment, and this is another alternative for players who prefer a slightly different look.”
You will not be stuck with the classic and default black lines and design, either. Instead, Titleist will offer more than 40 alignment aid options on the fourth pole, which lies opposite the sidestamp. These can be obtained through a custom order on Titleist.com.
Which Titleist Ball is For You?
We have discussed the Titleist Golf Ball Lineup in the past, and the Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash all offer something a little different.
This gives every player something to look forward to when hitting a Titleist Golf Ball:
Titleist Pro V1
The Pro V1 is the most popular ball on TOUR. It has a mid-flight trajectory, lower long-game spin, and a softer feel than the Pro V1x.
Titleist Pro V1x
The Pro V1x has a firmer feel, a higher trajectory, and spins more in the long game than the Pro V1. If you are a high-spin player, stay away from this ball. It is catered to players who have lower long-game spin, helping them maintain control.
Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash
The Pro V1x Left Dash is a perfect mix of the two previous options. It offers higher ball flights but lower spin and a firmer feel.
Who is Using Titleist’s Alignment Enhancement on TOUR?
64 percent of golfers on the PGA TOUR, LPGA, DP World Tour, and Korn Ferry Tour said they use a marking on their golf balls to help with alignment and accuracy.
Of the professional players that use a single line on their ball, which inspired the look Titleist equipped with the Performance Alignment system, Wyndham Clark, Lydia Ko, and Viktor Hovland are three many fans have heard of.
In Stores May 17
Titleist’s Enhanced Alignment Pro V1, Pro V1x, and Pro V1x Left Dash will be available in stores on May 17 in the United States only.
The balls will be available globally on July 1.
