There’s lots of great golf gear out there, but one of the biggest “problems” is that a majority of golfers frequently flock to the same stuff. Stated differently, you quickly blend into the masses. Personally, I’d rather stand apart with some cool, limited edition gear.

TRUE linkswear is a brand that could be described as “by golfers, for golfers.” And perhaps perfectly timed with the Halloween, spooky-season, TRUE is releasing its Dead Golfer Capsule, an ode to an icon—the dead linksman—that celebrates their undying love for golf.

The limited edition capsule features limited edition footwear, apparel, headwear, and more.
Breaking down the capsule, we’ll start at the foundation: the footwear pieces. The TRUE LUX Hybrid and Men’s & Women’s All Day Knit 3 comprise the collection, and each feature a murdered-out, all black look, with subtle accenting and touches that honor the Dead Golfer.
I’m personally a huge fan of the All Day Knit. While they’re already some of the most comfortable shoes I own, the Dead Golfer branding takes them to the next level. “Married to the Game” and “‘Til Death Do Us Part” are etched on the heels, with “Bury Me on the Links” on the insole).
The apparel and accessory portion of the collection features some equally cool pieces. 5-Panel Snapbacks, Mock Polo, Crew Tee, Crewneck and Hoodie sweatshirts each feature subtle branding that isn’t obnoxious or in your face (I’m talking to you Viktor Hovland). The 5-Panel, Mock Polo (pictured below), Crew Tee, and Crewneck come with a cool iridescent Dead Golfer that contrasts perfectly against the black base.
Notably, each of these pieces are constructed with premium materials. The Lux Mock Polo is made with sustainable, SuperNatural materials that are antibacterial, anti-wrinkle, breathable and moisture wicking. The Crew Tees feature 100% ring spun cotton, and the Crewneck and Premium Hoodie both prioritize comfort and warmth—making them perfect on the course or while walking around the farm with some warm apple cider.

Wrapping up the collection is a great range of accessories—a Backpack, Whiskey Glasses, a Barrel Head Cover, Divot Repair Tool, 32 oz. DrinkTanks Growler, Bamboo Tees and Snell Golf Balls.
The Whiskey Glasses, Divot Repair Tool and Growler may be my favorites, as they are each tasteful items that spur great conversation and can be used year round.
