Myrtle Beach’s Most Breathtaking Golf Experience: Tidewater Golf Club

Continuing on our Myrtle Beach series, Tidewater Golf Club is up next, and of all of the unbelievable courses in the area, it might be the most stunning of all.

Tucked in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, Tidewater Golf Club was designed by renowned golf course architect Ken Tomlinson and was meticulously crafted to not only provide a challenge to golfers that play there but also to take their breath away with stunning views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

“Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or a beginner looking for an enjoyable round, Tidewater Golf offers something for everyone. With multiple tee options, our course can be tailored to accommodate golfers of all skill levels, ensuring a memorable experience for all. Our North Myrtle Beach championship golf course offers an outstanding playing experience in the beautiful surroundings of Myrtle Beach.”

Rated at just over 7,000 from the tips, the course offers a variety of challenging holes. However, there are several straightforward holes, including “The Big Easy,” the first hole, a Par 5 playing just 526 from the tips and 482 from the less challenging white tees.

It is a great way to get your round started, just try not to be distracted by the breathtaking views that will present themselves along the way.

Located 41 minutes North of Myrtle Beach International Airport, Tidewater Golf Club also offers several three-star hotel options from top names like Hampton Inn, Embassy Suites, and Courtyard by Marriot just miles away.

Additionally, there are other clubs close by, like Tilghman Beach and Golf Resort, which is top-rated as well.

Referred to as “The Pebble Beach of the East,” Tidewater offers tee times as high as $123 for early morning hours, and $87 for later in the day. While this may be on the pricey side, the views and course conditions will speak for themselves.

MyrtleBeachGolf.com writes:

“With its classic yet contemporary design, Tidewater presents players with thrilling risk/reward opportunities that requires both low- and high-handicappers to put their shot-making skills to the test. Regardless of your grade, you’ll enjoy a one-of-a-kind golf experience at Tidewater.”
