A Sunday 62 vaulted him up the leaderboard, summarising a quiet return to form from the Australian. Nine birdies and nine pars made for a beautiful round of golf.
What a week at @attbyronnelson
To close it out with a round like today and on Mother’s Day made it very special!
Thank you to all the fans, volunteers, and those that have been with me on this ride back to the winners circle. pic.twitter.com/xxneAmrMwe

JDay rolled back the years with a fantastic display on the weekend, taking us back to 2015 when he was on fire for the season.
Day said:
“It’s been a struggling few years—five years actually since my last win—to be able to get the win with the way I played today was really special, so I’m really pleased and happy with the way things have progressed over the last couple of years for me.”
His physical troubles are well documented, and the slow road to recovery has included swing changes – to limit any further damage to his body.
This win comes off the back of eleven top 20 finishes in the 2022/23 season so far, as his name has been featured again on the first page of the leaderboards.
Approaching the PGA next week, he arrives as a past champion and recent winner on the Tour. Definitely, one to watch at Oak Hill!
