2022 was a big shake-up for the Golf world and will likely continue as things will sort themselves out, however, some players can be finding other problems that other pros may not encounter.
Champion Golfer of the Year Cameron Smith, who has been residing in Jacksonville for seven years, could be facing issues joining clubs because of his ties to LIV Golf.
Smith had a wildly successful year, winning not only the Claret Jug but also the Players Championship. Unlikely, due to bans put on LIV Golfers, we will not see Cameron defending his title in 2023. The Australian star lives just 10 minutes down the road from one of the most coveted holes in golf, the famous par 3 at TPC Sawgrass.
However, there have been some rumors that Smith has been barred from other clubs because of his LIV membership.

According to Golfweek, a close friend of Smith who wanted to remain anonymous said it’s all a bunch of hogwash. On the contrary, it wouldn’t be surprising if it was the case at certain courses like a TPC that is backed by the PGA Tour.
At TPC Sawgrass, they went as far just to remove his defending champion parking spot shortly after joining LIV.
As one of my FB friends noted, how soon until this sign is removed @TPCSawgrass? I think I will park there Thursday and check. pic.twitter.com/fOoyRInW17

Should we be barring members of this tour and removing them from traditions and history? It makes one wonder if they are facing pushback as a whole to play a round of golf at certain problems. However, somebody could ask why does it matter, they all have enough money to build their own golf courses or practice at LIV-sanctioned golf courses.
The divide is real between people and fans, but when will a solution be found between all relevant tours?
