BREAKING: Patrick Reed Sues Brandel Chamblee for $750 Million

LIV Golf player Patrick Reed filed a lawsuit against everyone’s favorite commentator Brandel Camblee and Golf Channel Tuesday, in a claim that they “conspired” with the PGA TOUR to defame him and his character.

Reed filed the  lawsuit in U.S. District Court and is seeking more than $750 million in damages.  He will be represented by the very controversial attorney Larry Klayman, who once proclaimed himself as a modern day “John Adams”  and is known for his over 15 lawsuits against the Clintons.

According to a source, Reed is claiming that both Chamblee and the Golf Channel have been conspiring with the PGA TOUR and their commissioner Jay Monahan to “engage in a pattern and practice of defaming” him with malice since he was 23 years old. The goal, he said, was to “destroy [Reed’s] reputation, create hate, and a hostile work environment for him, and with the intention to discredit his name and accomplishments.

Reed also filed cease and desist order  against Chamblee back in 2019. Reed claims in the lawsuit that he has suffered from a hostile work environment on the Tour, and that he’s lost “multi-million dollar sponsorship deals” as a result.

Reed probably doesn’t need the money – he’s won nine times on the PGA Tour in his career, including at The Masters just four years ago, plus the LIV sign-on money. It looks like he’s just out for blood.

We’ll keep an eye on the story to see how it progresses.
