This week kicks off the last tournament before the Fedex Cup Playoffs commence. Joohyung Kim had an interesting start to his tournament.
Kim currently sits in 34th place in the Official World Golf Ranking and holds six international victories at just 20 years old. The young man managed his composure to bounce back from a quadruple bogey on his opening hole.
Co-Leaders
The young blooming star is currently tied with Brandon Wu and veteran Ryan Moore. Moore is finding himself at the correct time to bolster himself into the top 125, which is necessary to be eligible for the Fedex Cup Playoffs.
He currently sits at 183rd on the FedEx Cup Points list and with a first-place finish that would put Moore comfortably into the playoffs.
Bright Future
Keep an eye on the 20-year-old Joohyung Kim in his young career as he turned pro just 4 years ago, one month before he was 15.
Some know Kim as Thomas after he named himself after Thomas the Train, but be prepared for the Joohyung Kim Express when Thomas catches steam.
