Tiger has continually set the bar for what is possible when it comes to golf. He has done things that don’t make sense, but can he contend at the PGA Championship with minimal competitive rounds?

Probably but I don’t know. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching Tiger play golf and if he’s anywhere close to winning on Sunday, I’m not missing a shot. Hell, even people who hate him watch. The truth is that he’s not in his 20’s anymore. Every tournament he plays is a gift and considering this week is a major, you know damn well he’s not going to miss it. But can he win?

If you ask him, the answer is always yes. The odds on favorite this week has to be Brooks and Justin Thomas. If Bryson stays in control of his emotions then he could easily contend as well. With only a few starts in a covid shortened season, my honest guess is that Tiger will be on the outside looking in.
The competition is very strong and his lack of tournament reps could hurt him. That being said, this dude has done the impossible time and time again, so who knows how well he will do. After listening to him talk about his preparation for this week, we might be treated to another special event in the history of Tiger Woods.
