California kicked off the 2016 Outdoor track and field season Saturday with a men’s victory at the California Outdoor Opener in Berkeley.
Battling heavy rain and wind throughout the competition, the Golden Bears’ men’s team finished with 144 points to secure the win over Long Beach State (125) and UC Davis (96). On the women’s side the Cal team finished third with 161 points, just behind Long Beach (162.5) and Davis (177.5). Read more
