Marissa Runs 8th Fastest 1,500 meters in Cal History at Brutus Hamilton

On Saturday, April 29th, Marissa finished 1st in the 1,500 Meters race, with a PR time of 4:19.77 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational at Edwards Stadium in Berkeley, CA.  The time is the 8th fastest women’s 1,500 meters in Cal history.

On a picture-perfect day at Edwards Stadium, California used the ideal weather to set a host of lifetime bests at the Brutus Hamilton Challenge, while UTEP’s  Emmanuel Korir blazed to victory in the Lon Spurrier men’s 800 meters in the No. 2 time in the world this year.
