Navigating the ocean’s hidden secretsPicTrax empowers you and fellow divers to find and share the best dive sites around the world, via map-pinned images shared by fellow oceanic explorers. By integrating exploration, photography, and geotagging, ‘PicTrax - share the adventure’ allows you to map discovered locations using the GPS longitude and latitude within the image’s metadata (when it is present) on a global shared map. With this integration, PicTrax offers a unique visual representation of your underwater discoveries, presenting them on an interactive global map. Note: When GPS, metadata is not present, images may be pinned manually, automatically pinning to your current location, (which may be available when you surface) or by pinch zoom, scroll navigation to the destination). Swipe up on an image in your gallery to see if GPS metadata is present. By pinning images to PicTrax and making the post ‘private’ you can track underwater discoveries across a global interactive map for your own reference. Your discoveries may be made public or kept private for your own records and reference, as you choose. Images that have already been uploaded may be swapped from public to private or private to public from an ellipsis (…) menu available in Detail View. Curating diving experiencesBy tapping the user icon you can access your user profile. Here, under the collections tab, you can curate your destinations as ‘collections’ under a location or topic theme, such as ‘Seahorses of the world’ or ‘Thailand’s best dive sites’, allowing you to craft collections that mirror your passion and unite extraordinary dive sites under a single theme. Whether it’s the allure of the ‘Sea caves of Ireland’ or the fascination of ‘underwater sculpture park’, your collections will tell a compelling underwater story. You may add your own and other users’ images to collections, so your curated Collection may be made without travelling the world personally. Simply tap on an on-map thumbnail to open Detail View, and tap the bookmark icon to add it to one of your collections. Enhance your collections with a description and relevant hashtags, and share, for users to discover, download and use to navigate to and experience these magical destinations. Private Collections: Your Personal Underwater HavenPicTrax’s private posts and private collections are designed for adventurers seeking to map exclusive sites. Safeguard your most treasured dive moments, from discovered wrecks to submerged monuments and endangered marine encounters, within your own personal map-pinned gallery. Navigate Dive Possibilities: Search and Filter MasteryPicTrax’s search and filter capabilities offer the ability to quickly find new destinations. Each upload allows you to add automatic and manual hashtags, and descriptive commentary, increasing discoverability. Discover intelligently categorized search results, from ‘Most Recent’ and ‘Near Me’ to ‘Pix I Like’ and ‘Surprise Me’.
