Cruising Mergui Archipelago in Myanmar

The smiling seahorse raises the level of Burma dive cruises with a brand new liveaboard! Ranong, Thailand, 13th of May 2019: The Smiling Seahorse unveils "MV Smiling Seahorse", a splendid new boat custom built by and for divers. Just launched in November 2018, the "MV Smiling Seahorse" has been thoroughly tested this season and have only received compliments from returning and new customers alike. Strong of their 7 years experience, Camille and Franck Fogarolo, owners of The Smiling Seahorse have designed their dream boat with all the amenities a good dive liveaboard should have: Plenty of space spread over 4 floors for only 16 divers onboard. Steel hull, 2 powerful engines, Aircon and large windows to the ocean in all cabins, ensuite bathrooms, photo corner… you name it! A successful season: Since its launch in November 2018, MV Smiling Seahorse already did no less than 24 cruises in the Burmese and Thai waters for the delight of its international guests. Its photographer’s room includes plenty of charging sockets, a large rinsing tank for electronic devices, large desks for tools and individual storage baskets for all the bulky underwater photographers’s gadgets. The boat was also designed for relaxation and well-being between two dives with common spaces both on the upper deck and the very large sundeck. You can always find space in the shade or in the sun to enjoy your time onboard. Upper deck: A large sofa area at the back of the upper deck. Sundeck: Hammocks, sofas and loungers for all. The private areas are also well thought of. The cabins are designed with a smart bedding system in Standard and Deluxe cabins which can either be configured as a couple cabin with a large double bed and twin cabins with 2 single beds leaving plenty of space for storing personal belongings. Deluxe and master cabins are equipped with their own ensuite bathrooms. While all cabins have windows and door to the ocean, the master cabins have and additional panoramic window forward.
