Before we end this year,  an update of the PADI Specialty Instructor Training in Khao Lak during November 2017 in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Sea Dragon' is in place.

Sandra who participated in the October 2017 Padi Idc in Khao Lak participated in the MSDT prep course and Mattias, who participated in the November 2015 PADI IDC in Moalboal in the Philippines added all PADI instructor level Specialties that he didn't participate in during November 2015.

PADI Specialty instructor training in Khao Lak during November 2017; If you ever want to see honeycomb eels, the Boonsung wreck near Khao Lak is the place to be. They were out and about by the dozens during our training dives there.

Mattias had already seven PADI Specialty instructor ratings next to his name after the MSDT prep program two years ago in the Philippines. He took the opportunity to participate in the Self Reliant-, Dive Against Debris- and Wreck Instructor level specialty training.

For both of them, the self reliant diver level course had to be taken care of first. This meant 3 dives at the local dive site of Khao Nai Yak before the PADI IDC for October in Khao Lak actually started.

The deep training was conducted at the Similan Islands and all other training dives took place at the Boonsung wreck, near Khao Lak.

The latter a well worthwhile dive site that can be highly recommended.

A lot of diving was taken care of including some dives on Nitrox, to get more bottom time during the third dive of the day at the Boonsung wreck. Great dives, lots of fish and marine life was spotted and a couple of enjoyable days were spent straight after the IDC. A well deserved rest was earned by Sandra after completing the PADI Specialty instructor training in Khao Lak during November 2017. Although rumor has it that she got restless within 24 hours of not diving!

Begin the new year with a bang with one of my PADI IDC programs scheduled in early 2018!

On 6th January my first PADI IDC in 2018 will start on Koh Lanta, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers'. On 20th February a programs is scheduled to start on Koh Phangang, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Haad Yao Divers'. This is followed by a program scheduled to start 6th February on Phuket, Thailand in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia' with monthly programs scheduled in 2018 on Phuket and on 20th February an IDC is scheduled to start in Khao Lak, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Sea Dragon'. To make the circle round again, on 26th March I will be back on Koh Lanta, Thailand again in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers'.
