The May 2017 Padi Idc on Phuket has reached the half way mark, in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia'. We're knee deep in it, so to speak!

Progress is going nicely and smoothly and the two candidates are improving each day, giving credit to the word 'development'.

We have already completed all confined water training and the first knowledge development or classroom presentation has also been bagged, with a second to follow today.

Right now, the second set of theory exams is on the menu for the morning and during the afternoon more classroom presentation by myself will be conducted, including the presentation on how to prepare for Open Water presentations. Tomorrow we will be on the boat for three dives around the Raya islands and we will complete the open water training, including the rescue exercise # 7 skill; unconscious diver at the surface.

W e will keep chipping away at the schedule and next week Sunday, we should have two new PADI Instructors on Phuket, when the PADI IE will be completed around noon.

That's still a week to go though and in the meantime we will be having fun at the scuba diving training facilities of Dive Asia at Kata Big Rock and tomorrow on the boat. Before the PADI IE starts, we will also tackle the EFR Instructor course.

If you're interested in participating in one of my PADI IDC programs, the next options available will be on Phuket, Thailand with programs scheduled to start on 6th June, 4th July and 8th August in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia' and come 26th July there is a PADI IDC scheduled to start in Moalboal in the Philippines in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Neptune Diving Adventure'.
