#Blogtober Day 17: My Favourite Equestrian Bloggers

There are a few equestrian bloggers that I thoroughly enjoy following and reading their latest posts. Usually it is blogger with a very personable tone and style to their posts, as well as being relatable and telling their own unique story.

Five of my faves

1️⃣ No Bucking Way

Cracking blog ladies!

2️⃣ The Sand Arena Ballerina

Another brilliant name...clearly for me there is something in the name! Andrea and her horse Nonnie are based in Australia are literally are ballerina in the arena. This blog is all about a journey of one equestrians dreams and real progress to reaching Grand Prix level in the sport. Despite being literally on the other side of the world, I love reading updates on Andrea's blog, so if you get chance, head over and give it a read too!

3️⃣ Gee Gee & Me

Jessica's blog is one of envy for me - she is BRILLIANT at product reviews having started her blog from her own realisation of all the research she would carry out when buying anything equestrian related. With her super cute horse, Oscar, they carefully select products that they purchase and carry out full, honest reviews on almost everything, giving us all a great space to check them out before we buy them too. Gee Gee & Me has a very creative style and the way it presents and words its reviews is a talent I very much envy.

4️⃣ The Timid Rider

I fell hooked on The Timid Rider after reading one of the most heartwarming posts I've seen across equestrian blogger - My Daughter is my Hero. Heather is an equine (& canine) sports massage therapist and often writes from this perspective, whether it be about therapeutic riding, or avoiding injury, or her general horsey life, she always (& I mean always!) has something interesting to say. Heather is also listed as a bestselling author on Amazon of her listed bestselling book - Confessions of a Timid Rider.

5️⃣ This Cob Can

Last, but by no means least, this is a blog I have followed for over 10 years in some form or another. When getting back into riding in 2007, I met Laura on the New Rider forum, which I'd joined for some advice when starting back out. I discovered she had a beautiful black and white cob, Harvey. We became friends on Facebook & shared issues, exercises and experiences that we were having with our horses. Laura's had an incredibly tough year in 2018, and this is where I've seen more strength and determination than I've seen in any of the other bloggers I follow. With a period of time out of the saddle, Laura completed her second ever Elementary on Harvey recently and was rightly proud as punch. Their partnership is one of absolute pure beauty & it is a pleasure to follow them ❤️
