The CHINOOK comes with locking clasps and pins that ensure that your rack is securely installed to your automobile. There’s also fastening hooks, that safely positions your bike’s frame to the rack. This rack was specifically designed by SWAGMAN with ease of usage being in mind.

• Ease of Usage/ Folding capability: This rack is commendable for everyday usage. You can keep this rack attached to your vehicle, when not in use, the rack can be folded to a vertical position if you plan on parking in a cramped space, it can also be brought back to an initial horizontal position, simply by pressing your foot against the pedal.
• Loading and accessing bikes: Freighting into and unpacking away your bike, from the rack is very easy, as the rack has a relatively low height to cargo your bike and for its wheel fastening design. The clamp arm can simply be folded out, proceed with placing the wheels into the container trays
• Tilting feature: It’s comparatively easy to tilt down the rack, in case access to the hatch/ trunk or tailgate is required. This process is easier when one bike is accommodated to the rack.
• Design and finishing: The Transfer is quite well designed, its U-shaped design makes it easier, for the rear cameras to still have visibility to surrounding when the hitch-rack is tilted to a 45* angle. • Security: The Transfer doesn’t include any safety lock to the default packaging, it isn’t too well secured, neither for the rack or your bike for that matter. You need to purchase additional security locking kits if you want to ensure safety for your bike. Whereas; the rack itself is fixed with the hitch receivers of your vehicle.

• Bike support and hitch receiver: The CHINOOK can comfortably house up-to 2 bikes at a time and it can support hitch receivers of widths 1-1.4” and 2”.
• Ease of daily usage: In terms of day-to-day usage the CHINOOK works quite well, for example, when the wheel holding compartment is set to the correct width according to requirement, it is a pretty straightforward job to cargo and dislodge the bike, due to the shallow height and uncomplicated clamp mechanism, which can easily be pulled downwards to fasten the frame of the bike.
• Security: The wheels of your bikes would be held firmly to the trays with ratcheting cords, to ensure safety. The ratcheting vice fasteners can be glided up or down as required, which can safely hold bikes having a variety of frame proportions.

Also, the wheel can easily be moved away from the holders with a little effort and patience, this way, the bike can be taken out from the rack.
• Frame contact: The claps to which the frame of the bike is held into, can come into contact, which can result in your paint being shave off or cause damage to your carbon fiber frame of the bike.
• Weight and space requirement: It weighs in at 47 lbs, which isn’t too light, if compared to other hitch-racks, and measuring at 58.5” means it is quite prolonged as well has a cumbrous shape.
