So the liberal media's been bitchin again this week, saying the next President of thegreatestnationonearth is too old for the job. I mean, c'mon!! So McCain's 71? Get over it!!! That don't make him any more senile than Ronnie Reagan - not before he got the Alzheimers, anyways. There's plenty of leaders around the world who are way older than 71 and do a good enough job, thankyou very much. Who's that guy who runs Africa, what's his name, Robert Mugarby? I heard on Fox News this week that he's 80-something - and you don't hear many people saying he don't know what he's doing!!!
All this ageist Stuff is so discriminalatory. And you know what, it's pure hypercritical! Ain't those liberals who are so busy pokin fun at McCain supposed to be all about equal opportunities for the blacks an the handicappeds an the welfare collectors an the Mexicans?
But you know what, I think they're taking a look round the world and they think times are changin. We gotta whole bunch of younger politicians startin to run countries like Europe and Australasia and London and the Middle East. Like that French guy, who's all charm and sex and cute wife and cholesterol-free fries. And that President Putin, too, all bare-chested and sultry and bad ass and Russian. It's a whole new generation now. And suddenly, it's like, if you weren't born yesterday you can't get to be President of the US of A. What's that all about?
And I hate to say it, gals, but I think it all started with the British President, Tony Blair. Now you know how much time I got for Tony, what with his lending us troops for the waronterror and keeping the faith about Saddam's WMDs and letting our pilots stopover for a restroom break on their way to bombing the shit outta Irak, and of course his cute British accent. Wife was a bit of a sourpuss, but him I had time for. But I gotta say, I think he was just a bit too heavy on the spin doctors and the PR people. I mean, you don't see Bush surrounded by media people trying to spin us a line about this and that an the other - he just tells it like he sees it. If he sounds stupid each time he opens his mouth, that's just the way he is.
So while I might have had some reservationisms about McCain in the past, I sure as heck don't think being a retiree is one of them. My old pa lived to be 83 and right up to the very last day, I woulda trusted him to run the country and do an awesome job. He woulda made me proud, making Mexicans illegal again and jailing all them abortionists who MURDER UNBORN CHILDREN and cutting taxes and winning wars and all that kinda stuff. If McCain can keep his wits about him long enough to do half that stuff we're rockin and rollin. And if he gets a bit forgetful as he gets older, or a bit smelly or starts talkin to himself or pees himself or whatever - well, we'll deal with that when it happens. We're Americans, for goodnesssakes - fixin crises is what we do.
