X-Factor Farce

Well, I was as glued as ever to the TV screen last night (yes - I DO have a life!) watching X-Factor. And the way I saw it was:

Ray - a little flaky - a few bum notes early on - cute - but has a short shelf-life

Robert - Not really the best song for showing of Robert's vocals - dull in the early part of the song, but then came into his own.

The McDonuts - Dull, dull, dull as dishwater - get me outta here!

Eton Road - I'm sorry? What was that? "The wierd one" looked like he really didn't know what he was doing there, he looked like he was about to burst into tears at any moment, and he even forgot the lyrics during parts of the song! Go home lads.

Leona - Oh now what can I say - not my favourite performance, but she is in a league of her own - superb.

Ben - Again - fantastic performance from Ben who always sings from the heart.

Now onto the judges:

Sharon - looked a little peaky I felt, and not her usual vaaa voom self.

Simon Cowell - c'mon Simon, you can afford a better suit than that, it looked like you had slept in it and it didn't fit, and it was something that someone through out of his wardrobe in at the end of the 80's!!! But apart from that - you spoke sense as usual! You are my kinda guy! In a platonic - business kind of way!!!!

Louie - Can someone please explain to me how this pathetic excuse of a man managed to become so successful in his field? He sounded like my 6 year old child, he is so pathetic and snivly - I just don't understand it. If anyone should have been sent home based on their performance last night - it should have been Louie Walsh! Aaaaargh.

Anyway - Vote Leona!!!!!!!
