I think most of us can safely say that the AFI pretty much got it right with their recent attempt at a Top 100 list. A top (any number) list is really nothing but a way to show off what we know, like, and think. Its very simplified and requires no explanation as to why it is in the order it is or exists at all for that matter. We all have them in our own heads to some degree and can pretty much categorize anything about who we are into dozens of lists..... favorite colors, sports figures, musical artists, historical places, stock car racers, cartoon cats, beheadings from the 13th century, second cousins, one-night stands, teachers, one-night stands with teachers, one-night stands with second cousins........who are teachers, butter-churning tales from Pennsylvania, moments of lighting farts, etc..... You can even have a Top 10 List of your favorite TOP 10 Lists!!!! So without further ado, I would like to add some movie quotes that I think AFI might have forgotten but I am pretty sure you will lovingly remember........
