AI Bot can’t decide whether to call its creator, Mom or Dad?

30 February, 0175: We all love our parents. They are our heroes. We haven’t read about them in epic tales, we haven’t seen them fight epic battles, yet we all subconsciously consider our parents as the most admirable Human Beings in our minds.

We didn’t know that the bots thought the same way too.

Chatbot A11 as it was named by its creator, computer scientist Dr See Pyu, was considered to be an ideal name by every developer who had contributed in the project. It initially started off as a small github project to build a simple Chatbot which can behave like a 90s kid. Dr See had decided that he will himself code the convolutional neural network required to build the natural language processor. Little did he know, that his project will become the most forked repo of the week and about ten Trillion Human Beings will contribute to it. Well, he didn’t even know that there were 10 trillion human beings in the first place! It was trained using captions of all youtube videos ever made, even the ones which were deleted and also the ones which were never uploaded. A trusted source tells us that it also includes captions from videos which were not even made and also the silent ones.

After the completion of the project, when it was finally deployed on a live website, Dr See submitted the first line of text to it. He reportedly had typed in, “We’re the ones who made you!“, instead of any introductory sentence like “Hi, my name is…Hi my name is…Hi my name is….chika chika SEEPYU” or “Hello (Hello), allow me to introduce myself (myself), My name is SEEEPYU, So nice to meet you,(So nice to meet you)”  or even “Cause I ain’t got no legs! Or no brain, nice to meet you Hi, my name is, I forgot my name! My name was not to become, what I became with this level of fame, My soul is possessed by this devil my new name is, See Pyu!“.

The reply from chatbot was shocking. It replied with 3 messages, namely, “Dad?” “Mom?” “You there?

See Pyu tried to explain that he was the creator and theoretically not the mom or dad, but the chatbot had the preconceived notion that the developer who writes any piece of code is definitely the parent of the same.

Ever since then, the chatbot has only been asking ,”Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, who are you???

We don’t know why this news is important, nor do we know whether this signals a possible Bot Apocalypse in the future, but what we do know is that, the developers are definitely the most fertile organisms on the planet!

Following this logic, another newspaper has already named Dennis Ritchie and Linus Torvalds as the Godfathers of our Society…
