Francis, the cat, is sitting incredibly still, eying both Rafael and Raul.

Raul, on his end, is all scratched up and bruised.

Francis opens his mouth to speak when Amelia cuts him off.

Cat: I…
Amelia (stops him from talking): Francis, please keep your mouth shut!

Francis closes his mouth embarrassed and looks from Raul to Rafael.

Rafael, the bird, is out of breath and Raul, the rat, is hurt and bleeding.

Amelia: I can´t believe you three…
Rafael: you can´t believe… (exhales loudly, clearly pissed)…
Raul: It´s okay Amelia, I´ll live…

Rafael: why would you do that?
Raul: do what?
Rafael: get in front of me!
Raul: I just… I didn´t want you to hurt Francis. He´s not himself right now.

Rafael: Not himself? He´s drunk! He´s always drunk!
Cat: Hey!
Rafael (turns to the cat violently/murder in his eyes): you shut your pie hole!

Francis closes his mouth and pouts.

Raul: Amelia, please take Francis home to try and sleep it off.
Cat (gets up and moves away from Amelia): I don´t know this lady! I´m not going anywhere with her.

Raul exhales loudly.

Raul (nears Francis): listen up pussycat! This kitty cat right here (points to Amelia) is your girlfriend. You, my friend, are incredibly drunk. So get your ass home right now and sleep it off.

Cat (pouts): but… I don´t want to…
Raul: I don´t care what you want! Right now you are going to do as I say! Are we clear?
Cat (scared): yes sir…

Raul: good. Now, Amelia, please take our crazy, drunkard friend home.
Cat (upset): No need to offend…
Raul: Just be glad I´m not biting you.

Francis moves away from Raul, a bit fearful.

Rafael is eyeing Francis. Raul notices this.

Raul: Rafael, what´s wrong?
Rafael: what I the world did this crazy cat drink this time?
Raul: Probably the same thing he always drinks.

Rafael: I don´t think so.
Amelia: why not?
Raul: yeah, I see your point.

Amelia: do you mind sharing?
Rafael:  it´s just, he drinks…
Raul (interrupts): a lot…
Rafael (cont.): yes, a lot. But he never forgot about us.

Amelia: do you think something happened to him?
Raul: that is possible.
Rafael (to Francis): Hey crazy cat?

Cat (points to himself): are you talking to me?
Rafael: See any other crazy cat here?

Francis looks at Amelia but before he can utter a word and sign his death certificate Raul steps in once more.

Raul: Anyways… Francis?
Rafael: Hey crazy cat! He´s talking to you!
Cat: me?
Amelia: yes, you!

Cat: what?
Rafael: This nice lady cat is going to take you home and you are going to sleep for a long while and maybe, just maybe, you´ll wake up your normal amount of crazy.

Cat: do I have to?
Raul/Rafael: yes!

Francis exhales loudly, highly annoyed.

Cat: fine!
Amelia: come on Francis. Bye guys.
Rafael: bye Amelia.
Raul: Bye.

Amelia leads Francis inside the house.

Rafael: are you okay?
Raul: did you have to bite me?
Rafael: I was planning on biting Francis! You just had to jump in save the damsel in distress.
Raul: Shut up.

Rafael: Now seriously. What do you think happened to him?
Raul (smiles): you´re worried about him.
Rafael (pretending to be upset): am not!

Raul: I don´t know. But I do think it´s weird that he didn´t remember any of us.
Rafael: crazy cat.
Raul: Ha! Ha! Ha! Ouch…
Rafael: serves you well. Stop laughing!

Raul: I´m hurt.
Rafael: I know. I´m sorry. Come on, I´ll walk you home.
