Jason opens the front door of his house to greet his girlfriend. She arrives with Amelia´s carrier in her hand.
Missy: Hi honey.
Jason: Hi.
He kisses her “Hello” and takes the carrier from her hand.
Jason (cont.): here, let me.
Missy: Thank you. I hope you don´t mind me bringing her along.
Jason: I don´t mind at all. Francis is going to be very happy to see his girlfriend.
Missy: she loves Francis as well.
Amelia (from inside the carrier/bitching): I do not!
Jason sets the carrier down and opens the door for Amelia to come out.
Amelia (cont./not moving): No! You can´t make me! I want to go home!
Jason: What´s the matter with her?
Missy: beats me. Maybe it´s that time of the month or something.
Jason breaks out laughing.
Jason: Ha! Ha! Ha! Hope she doesn´t kill Francis, I mean, if she´s anything like human females (shuts up when he notices the murder glare in his girlfriend´s eyes)…
Missy: what about human females?
Jason: Nothing… I mean some chocolate, a movie and lots and lots of cuddling, right?
Missy: Nice try…
Jason starts to look to the sides, in panic.
Missy (cont.): let´s just go. We have dinner reservations.
Jason (is finally able to breathe again): Lets…
Missy (to Amelia, still inside the carrier): stop acting like a spoiled child and go find your boyfriend.
Amelia: shut up!
Jason: let´s go?
Missy: yes. Bye kitty cat.
Amelia (from inside the carrier): just go!
They leave.
As Amelia hears the door shut, she comes out of the carrier and peaks at her surroundings.
The female cat exits the carrier and starts looking around.
She stops and sits.
Amelia (complaining): ah balls! Why couldn´t I just stay home?
She then gets off her butt and starts to walk around.
As she enters the kitchen, Amelia starts to hear Francis´s voice.
Cat: One… two… three…
Amelia (curious): what is that crazy cat doing?
Outside:
Francis, the cat, is in the middle of the yard, looking up at the sky.
Amelia comes out of the house and immediately spots Francis looking up. He´s highly distracted with God knows what.
Amelia: Francis?
Francis, the cat, screams and jumps high into the air.
Cat (screaming): AH!
He falls on his face.
Cat (complaining/cont.): Ouch! (hiccup)
Amelia is frozen in place starring at him.
Cat (looks up to her): are you (hiccup) trying to (hiccup) kill me?
Amelia (looking down on him/dead serious): If I ever want to murder you, trust me, you´ll see it coming.
Francis swallows in dry, petrified.
