Francis, the cat, is at home.

He´s splashed on the kitchen floor with a fan blowing fresh air on his face.

Cat (complaining): Oh my freaking´ God! It´s so hot! I´d kill for a cold beer right now…

Raul (from the window): Pst…?
Cat (not moving an inch/complaining): what…?

Francis looks to the window.

Cat (cont.): hey Raul. What´s up?
Raul: Hey Francis. Is your human home?
Cat: No. why?

Raul: can I come in?
Cat: Sure. “Mi casa es su casa”.
Raul (confused): what?

Cat: come on in.
Raul: oh okay…

Raul enters the house and goes near Francis.

Cat: what´s up?

Raul stays silent. As he nears Francis, the cool air reaches his face.

Cat (cont.): Too hot outside huh?
Raul: you have no idea.
Cat: Oh but I do, hence me being here in front of this contraption.

Raul (confused): con what?
Cat: don´t know don´t care. It´s nice isn´t it?
Raul (lays on the floor next to Francis): oh yeah…

Cat (laughing): Ha! Ha! Ha!
Raul: Francis?
Cat: what?

Raul: do you mind if I sit here with you for a while?
Cat: Of course not.
Raul: It´s so hot outside…

Cat (smiles): stay for as long as you want my friend.
Raul: thank you. You really are a good friend.
Cat: just be careful.

Raul: of what?
Cat: If I fall asleep, look out for Jason.
Raul: oh yeah, okay.

Cat: this is nice right?
Raul: Oh yeah…
Cat: how´s Rosa and the kids?

Raul: shhh… Francis, let me just have this moment of peace and quiet. No female, no kids, just peace.

Cat (smiling): enjoy it my friend.
Raul: thank you Francis.
Cat: you are very welcome.

Raul: you truly are a fake cat.
Cat (annoyed): You too?
Raul: I mean it in a good way Francis. Thank you for being a good friend.

Cat: Oh okay. And you´re welcome.

Raul: Ha! Ha! Ha!
Cat: why are you laughing?
Raul: I´m just imagining Rafael bitching about the heat and being too stubborn to come and ask to stay with you for a while.

Cat: His loss. I´ve told him countless times I´m not going to bite him.
Raul: You´ve never felt the urge?
Cat: what urge?

Raul: to bite him?
Cat: To eat him? No.
Raul: How about to shut him up?
Cat (smiling): Do I really need to answer that?

Raul breaks out laughing.

Raul: Ha! Ha! Ha!
