A Shocking video has emerged of a Skier in France falling down a huge hole and narrowly escaped death.

The skier who goes by the name lespowtos posted the video on instagram. In it we can see him skiing off-piste when he encounters whole in the glacier. he comes to an abrupt stop but he cant prevent himself falling down the hole. It looks like he will plummet to certain death when his skis dig into the side of the hole and stop his momentum.

According to his reports he managed to remain calm and using an ice axe, crampons, rope and help form his friends was able to pull himself to safety.
