Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have had their fair share of ups and downs in their 20 -year marriage.
In the second part of their Red Table Talk interview, the couple discuss a occasion where they stumbled rock bottom, and “broke up” within their union.

It all started with the actress’ 40 th birthday in 2011 when the actor unionized a huge birthday bash, including a performance by Mary J. Blige , and a video of never-before-seen clips of Pinkett Smith’s late grandmother.

“She’s like, it’s my birthday and she told me that the party was the most ridiculous spectacle of my pride … Crushed, right? And to this day I know I was crushed because it was true. ” To have to let go of the picture, to have to let go of the fantasy was ravaging. We essentially had to destroy our wedding .”
However, despite their trials and tribulations, divorce was never an option. In point, contrary to the tabloids, Jada” “ve never” even understood a divorce solicitor .”
Will — who was previously married to Sheree Zampino from 1992 to 1995 — knew he and his wife had to “rebuild” the relations between the two countries from the ground up.
“Because I had been divorced before, I wasn’t getting divorced again. Divorce wasn’t an option … I was destroyed so bad than a divorce. We broke up within our matrimony and got back all going together. We had to rebuild with brand-new rules and something route, completely different.”

“Ultimately to have a successful affinity, you have to have a relationship with a human being .”
The two also share 20 -year-old son Jaden . Will and his ex-wife share 25 -year-old son Trey .
