While American taxpayers were nestled snug in their plots, congressional Republicans were scheming to pass the second-largest spending increase in a decade.

The Republican-controlled Congress voted to conjure covers on spend by $300 billion over the next two years. There are some is forecast that hint the bill will increase government spending by $1.5 trillion.

Shame on us for taking the Republicans at their command. These are the same rapscallions who promised to cut spending and reduce the dimensions of the government.

There is no question that the U.S. armed forces require every penny allocated in the budget. But domestic spending is out of control.

Republicans said they had no choice but to approve the spending increase because Democrats were willing to hold the military hostage.

Instead of putting their dirt and taking their example to the American parties, the Republican succumbed to the demands of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif ., and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

The House Freedom Caucus and Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky ., countenanced their soil and harboured the line for the American taxpayer. But I’ve come to the conclusion that Establishment Republican have no intention of status their pledge to the taxpayers.

The Republicans told us they needed self-restraint of the House before they could get anything done. So we gladly sacrificed them regulate of the House. But good-for-nothing ever get done to hold down spending and the growth of government.

Then they told us they needed ascendancy of the Senate. So we happily leaved them controller of the Senate. But still , good-for-nothing ever got done to hold down spending and the growth of government.

Then, they told us they needed limitation of the White House. So we elected Donald J. Trump as the president of these huge United States.

And it pains me to write this, but the government is still thriving and spend is still out of control.

So you can imagine my exasperation when the Republicans told us that if “weve been” want to change the direction of Washington it will require MORE Republicans in Congress.

I’m reminded of an old-fashioned Southern saying: clown me once reproach on you, clown me twice- well, you’re maybe a congressional Republican.
