Mug Sprong (1955-2011) Part 4

1973-1975 : In the autumn of the year he graduated from high school, Mug enrolled in the Austin Institute of Technology ("We Use Science Words"). He declared a major in Psychology, and carried a minor in Tragic Stories About Poor People. Even though he lived in Austin, Mug was required to live on the university campus and to take a job in the school cafeteria, The Pi Hole ("Idea Thoughts Make Good Hungry").
   Near the end of his sophomore year, Mug was researching the effects of spanking on compulsive gamblers when he received a letter form Dr. Marsh. In the letter, Dr. Marsh informed Mug that he could no longer afford to pay for his college tuition, so this would be his last year at the Institute. The letter went on to explain the reason.
