Nit Sprong (1963-Present) Part 2

                     Nit Sprong (1963-Present) Part 2

Nit's uncle Dun worked for the water company through the week, but on the week-end he indulged his one true passion, which was music. Over the years, Dun had become a well-known local musician whose specialties were bluegrass trombone and gospel barking. He also dabbled in songwriting, having co-written a regional dance hit called "Do the Stubby".
Dun and Connie had no children of their own. Shortly after they were married, a doctor told Connie that a woman with her hip structure could only give birth during a sandstorm. The doctor went on to add that, if she did have children, there was "an 18% chance that they would be comically deformed, like umpire babies". So, they were overjoyed when Nit came to live with them, even though it was a temporary arrangement. During the week, Connie stayed home with Nit, and on the week-ends they took her along to watch Dun perform with his band, The Bladder Gypsies. As the weeks passed, Dun and Connie became ever-more attached to Nit.
Just as the three of them were settling into a comfortable routine, Dun received a phone call from Nit's father. What Dun heard was shocking but, nonetheless, it made his heart soar. It meant that he and Connie would have Nit around for a very long time.
