Having just returned from the cinema I felt the need to write a blog on a very successful movie franchise that just keeps on giving!
Okay, so Fast and Furious is not realistic. It's anything but. But it is a laugh and it is exhilarating in parts. The most recent addition to this particular series of films is entertaining and explosive. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson and 'Ludacris' are the favourites who return as well as the one and only 'my neck no longer exists' Dwayne Johnson. I'm also pretty sure I spotted Rita Ora as well, which was odd.
Anyway, the film is set in London of all places and I'd say it's quite a good representation of English behaviour. One example of this is throughout fight scenes in tube stations where passers-by simply stop and watch. Typical Brits.
I'm trying not to spoil the film for anyone who has yet to see it. Hopefully I succeed.
Another of my favourite scenes (for the comedy) was one that featured a street race between someone and someone else (see, I'm not spoiling it). Suddenly, behind two American muscle cars with roaring engines pops a standard police issue Vauxhall Astra complete with blue flashing lights. I chuckled to myself and continued watching a film I was genuinely enjoying.
I haven't mentioned the Ridiculously Long Runway in this blog. There's a ridiculously long runway in the film.
Overall, Fast and Furious 6 is a really good watch and a fun way to spend a few hours. A very well-known action star will be joining the franchise for the next film meaning I now have to see it. I won't say who it is, only that he is very good at TRANSPORTING and is EXPENDABLE. Oh and his initials are 'J. S'. If you haven't guessed by now then watch more action films.

There are some other films out this summer that I'm excited about too. Films like Monsters inc University, Despicable Me 2, This is The End and The World's End are just a few that look both appealing and funny. Pacific RIm could be the big hit of the summer with a trailer to get even the most critical sci-fi reviewer excited.
